When solution of barium chloride and sodium sulphate are mixed together then an insoluble precipitate of barium sulphate and solution of sodium chloride is obtained hence, this reaction is precipitation. ( a lind of double displacement reaction.)

BaCl_{2}+Na_{2}SO_{4}\rightarrow BaSO_{4}+2NaCl_{2}
