All of a sudden, I heard a scary noise in the middle of the night. It seems someone was crying. I was scared and awoke from my sleep. I  was still sitting on my bed. I suddenly stood up listening the sound second time. It was like someone was crying. May be a lady, a human or an animal. I waited for one more sound before I followed the direction of the sound. One more time someone cried. The sound was strangely familiar and was coming from the kitchen. I went inside the kitchen and was surprised by what I saw,  a cat was crying loudly close to the window and refrigerator. I sighed heavily as I have forgotten to close the window. I switched on the lights, gave some food to the cat. Then I closed the window, picked the cat and took it towards door. Left it outside the door with some food and went back to sleep.
