position of nth maxima=\frac{nD\lambda }{d}

So d_1=\frac{7D\lambda_1 }{d}

and d_2=\frac{7D\lambda_2 }{d}

So \frac{d_1}{d_2}=\frac{\lambda _1}{\lambda _2}

hydroboration reaction is generally used to convert alkene to alchol.  it is a two- step reaction process in first step BH_3  attack on the alkene and in the second step  oxidation occur by H_2O_2   which add a hydoxyl  group and hydrogen in a syn addition and form a cis sterochemistry compound.
