Identity IV is \Rightarrow (a+x )(b +x) = x^{2} + (a+b)x + ab
If b = -a than,

                (x + a)(x - a) = x^{2} + (a +(-a))x + (-a) \times a
                                     =x^{2} - a^{2}
Which is identity III
