Given that,
Principal (PA)= Rs 1,200 at 12% p.a. (Rate of interest)
and T = 3 year
We know that,
Interest = \frac{P\times R\times T}{100}
Now, putting the values in the above equation, we get
\Rightarrow \frac{1200\times 12\times 3}{100} = Rs\ 432 

So, Amount = PA + PI = 1200 + 432 = Rs 1632
