It is known that area of a square = (side)^2

(a) The length of a side of a square = 10cm
So, the area = (10)^2 =100cm^2

(b)The length of a side of a square = 14cm
So, the area =(14)^2 =196cm^2

(c) The length of a side of a square = 5m
So, the area =(5)^2 =25m^2
