Given,
Simple Interest, S.I.= Rs. \ 450 
Time, T = 3\ yrs
Rate, R= 5\%
We know, 
P= S.I \times \frac{100}{r} \times t
\\ =450 \times \frac{100}{3} \times 5 \\ = 3000

Therefore, the sum is Rs.\ 3000
