              (ii) (1.02)^2-(0.98)^2

We know,

a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b)

Using this formula,

(1.02)^2-(0.98)^2 = (1.02 + 0.98)(1.02 - 0.98)
= (2.00)(0.04)

= 0.08
