Answers (1)

Answer:

 10

Hint:

 Two perpendicular plane equals 0

Given:

 3x - 6y - 2z = 7  and 2x + y - λz = 5

Solution:

The equations of planes are

3x - 6y - 2z -7 =0

     and 2x + y - kz - 5 = 0

Since two planes are perpendicular to each other

∴(3)(2) + (-6)(1) + (-2) (-k) = 0                                           ? a1a2+b1b2+c1c2=0

∴6 - 6 + 2k = 0 2k = 0

k = 0
