Q7. A batch of bottles were packed in 25 boxes with 12 bottles in each box. If the same batch is packed using 20 bottles in each box, how many boxes would be filled?

We can easily calculate the required number of boxes to be filled, let us assume it to be 'x'

Given that a batch of bottles were packed in 25 boxes with 12 bottles in each box, Hence the total number of bottles will be = 25\times 12 = 300.

So, as they produced the same number of bottles every batch and as the number of boxes increases, the bottles in each box decrease.

Hence there holds an inverse relation here,

25\times 12 = 20\times x  or  x=15 boxes.

If the batch is packed using 20 bottles in each box then 15 boxes would be filled.
