When the length of the rope is 10 m, the area grazed will be:-

                                                 Area\ =\ \frac{\Theta}{360^{\circ}}\ \times \pi r^2

                                                            =\ \frac{90^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}}\ \times \pi \times 10^2

                                                            =\ 25 \pi\ m^2

Hence the change in grazing area is given by  :

                                                                      =\ 25 \pi\ -\ \frac{25 \pi}{4}\ =\ 58.85\ m^2
