Q : 9    A right circular cylinder just encloses a sphere of radius \small r (see Fig. \small 13.22). Find

           (iii) ratio of the areas obtained in (i) and (ii).

The surface area of the sphere = 4\pi r^2

And,  Surface area of the cylinder = 4\pi r^2

So, the ratio of the areas = \frac{4\pi r^2}{4\pi r^2} = 1
