All living organisms are made up of C, N, S, P, H and O. How do they enter the living forms? Discuss.
These chemical elements tend to circulate in the biosphere in a characteristic cyclic path, i.e., from the environment to living organisms and back to the environment. These circular paths are called biogeochemical cycles or nutrient cycles.
In other words, these elements are absorbed by the plants from nature and convert them into food. This food passes through different trophic levels of various food chains for utilization by consumers. Finally, the decomposers return the inorganic nutrients to the environment by decomposing the dead bodies and excreta of various consumers.
