Q1.    Check whether the following are quadratic equations :

                (ii)    x^2 - 2x = (-2)(3-x)

Given equation x^2 - 2x = (-2)(3-x) can be written as:

\Rightarrow x^2 -2x = -6+2x

i.e., x^2-4x+6 = 0

This equation is of type: ax^2+bx+c = 0.

Hence, the given equation is a quadratic equation.
