   (iii)    x^4 + 3x^3 + 3x^2 +x + 1

Zero of polynomial   (x + 1)  is -1.

If  (x + 1)  is a factor of polynomial    p(x)=x^4 + 3x^3 + 3x^2 +x + 1  

Then, p(-1)  must be equal to zero 

Now,

\Rightarrow p(-1)=(-1)^4+3(-1)^3+3(-1)^2-1+1

\Rightarrow p(-1)=1-3+3-1+1 = 1\neq 0

Therefore,  (x + 1)  is not a factor of polynomial   p(x)=x^4 + 3x^3 + 3x^2 +x + 1
