Answers (1)

best_answer

Given polynomial is  p(x)= x + 5

Zero of a polynomial is that value of the variable at which the value of the polynomial is obtained as 0.

Now,

p(x)=0

\Rightarrow x+5 = 0

\Rightarrow x=-5

Therefore, x = -5 is the zero of polynomial  p(x)= x + 5
