4.1     From the rate expression for the following reactions determine their order of reaction and the dimensions of the rate constants.

         (ii)   H_{2}O_{2}(aq)+3I^{-}(aq)+2H^{+}\rightarrow 2H_{2}O(I)+I_{3}^{-}Rate=k\left [ H_{2}O_{2}\right ]\left [ I^{-} \right ]

therefore the order of the reaction is 2

Dimension of k = rate/[H_{2}O_{2}][I^{-}]

                         \\=mol\ L^{-1}\ s^{-1}/(mol\ L^{-1})(mol\ L^{-1})\\ =L\ mol^{-1}\ s^{-1}
