Phytohormones or plant hormones are responsible for the chemical coordination in plants. These hormones regulate the growth of the plants. For example- Auxin can help in the growth of the plant (stem) Cytokinin is responsible for cell division, Gibberellin regulates processes such as stem elongation, flowering, and the ripening of fruits, and Abscisic acid induces dormancy in plants.
