Given : V=220V and I =5A

R=\frac{V}{I}=\frac{220}{5}=44\Omega

Let x number of resistors are connected in parallel to obtain 44 Ohm equivalent resistance.

Thus,

         \frac{1}{R}=\frac{1}{176}+\frac{1}{176}+.......................to\, \, x\, \, times

\Rightarrow \frac{1}{44}=\frac{x}{176}

\Rightarrow x=\frac{176}{44}=4

Hence, 4 resistors  of 176 Ohm are connected in parallel to obtain 44 Ohm
