best_answer

Hindi speaking = 250 = n(A)

English speakind = 200 = n(B)

Group of people = 400 = n(A \cup B)

People speaking both Hindi and English = n(A \cap B)

n(A \cup B) = n(A) + n(B) - n(A \cap B)

n(A \cap B) = 250 + 200 - 400

n(A \cap B) = 450 - 400

n(A \cap B)  = 50

Thus,50 people speak hindi and english both.
