Q. 2. In evolutionary terms, can we say which among bacteria, spiders, fish and chimpanzees have a ‘better’ body design? Why or why not?
Evaluation should not be equated with progress or any kind of better quality like better body design. Evaluation simply creates a more complex body design. This does not mean that simple body design is inefficient. for example, a bacteria has a very simple body but still is the most cosmopolitan organism found on the earth. They can survive deep sea, hot springs, and even icy-cold freezing environments. So, we can't say there's a better body design as these organisms evolved in the different-different environments and made changes in their body structure according to "Their " need.
