Jaundice can cause long-term effects on our health. It is a chronic disease and it takes a long time to be cured. It does not spread rapidly, it takes time to develop and time to get cured. Apart from this Jaundice may be accompanied by major issues including declining brain function and a possibility to bleed or bruise if the liver is severely damaged. If Jaundice happens frequently then it can come along with acute viral hepatitis, especially in young, healthy individuals.
