Given,

Worth of books sold in the first week = Rs \ 2,85,891

Worth of books sold in the second week = Rs\ 4, 00,768

Total sale in the two weeks = Rs. \ (2, 85,891 + 4, 00,768)

= Rs. \ 6, 86,659

Clearly, sales in the second week is greater than the first year by

Rs.\ (4, 00,768 - 2, 85,891) = Rs.\ 1, 14,877
