Q.3 Let A = { 1, 2, { 3, 4 }, 5 }. Which of the following statements are incorrect and why?

(viii) {1,2,3} \subset A

Answers (1)

Here, 3\in {1,2,3}

but  3 \notin  { 1, 2, { 3, 4 }, 5 }.

So, {1,2,3} \not \subset A

Hence,the given statement is incorrect.
