Number of time spent in one day = 1\frac{3}{4}  hour

The number of time spent in 6 days :

 =6\times1\frac{3}{4}=6\times\frac{7}{4}=\frac{6\times7}{4}=\frac{42}{4}=\frac{21}{2}=10\frac{1}{2}\:hours

Hence 10\frac{1}{2}\:hours are required by Lipika to complete the book.
