The wavelength of neon gas is 616\ nm  or  616\times10^{-9}m

Hence the frequency of this radiation will be:

\nu = \frac{c}{\lambda} = \frac{3.0\times10^8m/s}{616\times10^{-9}m} = 4.87\times10^{14}s^{-1}
