The energy emitted by the nitrogen laser is:

E = Nh\nu = N\frac{hc}{\lambda} = \left ( 5.6\times10^{24} \right )\times\frac{(6.626\times10^{-34}Js)(3.0\times10^{8}m/s)}{337.1\times10^{-9}m}

     =3.3\times10^6J
