In case of a right triangle, the length of its hypotenuse is highest. 

hypotenuse be h.

Taking, 3 cm, 6 cm

By Pythagoras theorem,

h^2=3^2+6^2

h^2=9+36

h^2=45

h=\sqrt{45}\neq 8

Hence, it is not right triangle.
