Let one of the angles be \Theta.

It is given that the angles are complementary to each other. So the other angle will be  90^{\circ}\ -\ \Theta.

Further, it is given that the difference of the angle is 12.

So the equation is :                90^{\circ}\ -\ \Theta\ -\ \Theta\ =\ 12^{\circ}

or                                                                       2\Theta\ =\ 90^{\circ}\ -\ 12^{\circ}

or                                                                         \Theta\ =\ 39^{\circ}

Hence the two angles are 39^{\circ}  and  51^{\circ}.
