To draw a pie chart, let us calculate the central angle.

Central angle for the students speaking Hindi $=\frac{40}{72} \times 360^{\circ}=200^{\circ}$

Central angle for the students speaking English $=\frac{12}{72} \times 360^{\circ}=60^{\circ}$

Central angle for the students speaking Marathi $=\frac{9}{72} \times 360^{\circ}=45^{\circ}$

Central angle for the students speaking Tamil $=\frac{7}{72} \times 360^{\circ}=35^{\circ}$

Central angle for the students speaking Bengali $=\frac{4}{72} \times 360^{\circ}=20^{\circ}$
