   (ii)    (x+8)(x-10)

We will use identity 

(x+a)(x+b)=x^2+(a+b)x+ab

Put   a = 8 \ \ and \ \ b = -10

(x+8)(x-10)= x^2+(-10+8)x+8\times (-10)
     
                                  = x^2-2x-80

Therefore, (x+8)(x-10)  is equal to  x^2-2x-80
