The lower the value of resistivity lower the resistance for a material of a given area and length. If resistance is low current flow will be high when a potential difference is applied across the conductor.

(a).the resistivity of iron =10.0\times 10^{-8} \Omega m

     the resistivity of mercury =94\times 10^{-8} \Omega m

the resistivity of mercury is more than iron so iron is a better conductor than mercury.

(b). From the table, we can observe silver has the lowest resistivity so it is the best conductor.
