                            REFLEX ACTION

  1. This action is performed automatically
  2. It is controlled and coordinated by the spinal cord
  3. It is an involuntary action.

       4. Innate and automatic.

       5. Examples: Blinking.

                            WALKING

  1. It is a reaction to the signal transmitted by the nerve to the muscles. Here, thinking is involved
  2. The brain instructs and controls the muscles of the leg for moving.
  3. It is a voluntary action.

       4. Acquired ability developed through practice and experience

       5. Examples: Walking, running.

A reflex action is a rapid ,automatic response to the stimulas.It does not involve any thinking.for example, we close our eyes immediately when the bright light is focussed.walking,on the other hand,is a voluntary action.It is under our conscious control.
