The antiferromagnetic moment arises when the net dipole is zero. In this, the dipoles are aligned in equal and opposite directions to cancel out each other. For example: MnO, FeO, CoO, NiO.
Antiferromagnetic materials have a small positive susceptibility at all temperatures. As the temperature decreases, the susceptibility increases until it reaches a maximum at the Neel temperature.
