Given AP is 
\small 3,8,13,18,...,
Let suppose that nth term of AP is 78
Here, a = 3
And 
d = a_2-a_1 = 8 - 3 = 5
Now, we know that that
a_n = a + (n-1)d
\Rightarrow 78 = 3 + (n-1)5
\Rightarrow 78 -3 = 5n-5
\Rightarrow n = \frac{75 +5}{5}= \frac{80}{5} = 16
Therefore, value of  16th term of given AP is 78
