MHT CET 2020- The Maharashtra health and technical common entrance test is commonly known as MHT CET will be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra ( DTE). Through MHT CET 2020 exam candidates will get admission in various government and private colleges in Maharashtra in for B.Tech, B.Pharm, LLB, MBA, etc programs on the basis of marks candidates score in the exam. The exam will be conducted tentatively in 2nd week of May 2020. Interested candidates can apply for the MHT CET 2020 by filling the online application form. The MHT CET application from 2020 tentatively in the third week of January to the last week of March 2020 at dtemahrashtra.gov.in.

It is mandatory to check the MHT CET eligibility criteria first before applying for the exam. The candidates are eligible for the exam only after satisfying the eligibility criteria. MHT CET 2020 Application form

The application form for MHT CET 2020 application for will be released tentatively 3rd week of January 2020 and the last date to submit the application form will be the 4th week of March 2020. MHT CET application form will be filled through online mode. For submission of the online application form, the candidates should log in at mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in website. 

The Online Application Submission is the four-step process:

  1. Registration – Creation of Username and Password
  2. My Application – Filling up Application Form for MHT-CET 2020 
  3. Upload of Photograph and Signature – Candidate must upload their recent Photograph and Signature in Online system
  4. Payment of Fees – Candidate can make payment of Fees using Online Payment mode or Offline (i.e Bank Challan Payment)

MHT CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the MHT CET 2020 candidates need to check the eligibility criteria set by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. The notification related to the MHT CET Eligibility criteria 2020 will be released along with the information brochure. Below candidates can check some parameters set by the exam conducting authority.

  • All the candidates passed/appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination.
  • Candidates having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2020.
  • There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2020.

MHT CET 2020 Admit card

The MHT CET Admit card will be released tentatively on the 4th week of April 2020. Admit card is a very important document which needs to be carried at the exam centre, no entry will be given without it.

MHT CET 2020 Syllabus

With the help of MHT CET 2020 syllabus, you will get to know the topics and units that need to be studied for the entrance examination. The syllabus will carry topics and units from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. MHT CET syllabus 2020 carries 20% weightage from Class XI syllabus and rest 80% weightage from Class XII syllabus.

MHT CET 2020 Exam Pattern

Along with the syllabus, candidates must go through the exam pattern of MHT CET 2019.  With the help of MHT CET exam pattern, candidates will be able to prepare well for the examination.

  • The exam will be conducted as a Computer Based Test.

  • The exam will comprise of 2 papers – Paper I (Mathematics) and  Paper II (Physics and Chemistry)

  • Each paper will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration. And, will carry 100 marks

  • The Number of questions in paper 1 is 50 and the number of questions in paper 2 is 100.

  • In paper-1: 2 marks will be awarded for each right answer.

  • In paper-2: 1 mark will be awarded for each right answer.

  • There will be no negative marking.

  • Paper-1 will be conducted in an English language mode only. Paper-2 will be conducted in English or Hindi or Marathi language.
