Electronegativity of an element is related to ionisation energy and electron affinity how??

Answers (1)

The more the element is electronegative, more is its electron affinity, i.e more is its tendency to attract electrons towards itself. Further, if electronegativity is higher than its tendency to lose electron is very less and thus the ionization energy is very high.
