As we learnt

INTERSECTION OF SETS -

The intersection of sets A and B is the set of all elements which are common to both A and B. The symbol ‘∩ ‘is used to denote the intersection.

- wherein

Symbolically, we write A ∩ B = {x: x ∈ A and x ∈ B}.

 bN= set of positive integral multiples of b,

cN= the set of positive integral multiples of c.

\therefore bN\cap cN = the set of positive integral multiples of bc. Thus d=bc

Option 1)

d=bc

Option 2)

c=bd

Option 3)

b=cd

Option 4)

none
