Bryophyta -

Non vascular terrestrial plants present mostly in moist places.

Characteristics of bryophyta -

Main plant body is gametophytic and thalloid which is not differentiated into root, stem and leaves.Sporophyte is parasitic over gametophytic. Antheridium and archegonium present.

1-Leaves are fan likes.

2-Rhizome stem present.

3-Homosporous or heterosporus.
