Ionization Potential -

Ionization enthalpy is also known as ionisation potential (IP).Since it is minimum potential difference required to remove the outermost electron from an isolated gaseous atom to form gaseous ion.

O^{+}=2s^{2}\: 2p^{3} – half-filled configuration has extra stability & F^{+}=2s^{2}2p^{4}partially filled less stable thus IE_{2} of O > F. Further, as nuclear charge increases the IE_{2} increases. So IE_{2} of N>C.
