The total surface area of a hemisphere = Curved surface area of hemisphere + Area of the circular end

= 2\pi r^2 + \pi r^2 = 3\pi r^2

\therefore The required total surface area of the hemisphere = 3\times3.14\times(10)^2

\\ = 942\ cm^2
