best_answer
  4p - 3q = 5
  p - q = 7/6

It can be written as -

 4p - 3q = 5
 6p - 6q = 7

So,

6p = 6q + 7

p = q + 7/6

Now,

 4•(q +7/6) - 3q = 5
     q = 1/3

Use the  q  value to solve for  p

    p = (1/3)+7/6 = 3/2
