A box contain 2900 solid colour marbles that are either orange,blue or green if 29 percent of marble are orange and 29 percent marbles are blue, what percent are green?

Answers (1)

Given out of 2900 marble we have 29 % orange marbles and 29% blue marbles

so total orange marbles is 29% of 2900 = 842 orange marbles and similarly we have 842 blue marbles 

so total green marbles i= 2900 - 2(841) = 1218 

so % green marbles= (1218/2900) x 100 = 42 %
