According to the given,2pi r=176
Rightarrow 2 imesfrac227 imes r=176Rightarrow r=28
Area of the screen=pi r^2=frac227 imes28 imes28=2464, cm^2
As only 90% of the area of the radar screen is effective,
herefore the effective area of the screen=frac90100 imes2464=2217.6, cm^2
