(a) In parthenocarpic plants, the ovary develops into the fruit without any fertilization. Formation of seeds without fertilization and without any reductional division and after afterwards develop into an embryo without fertilization.
(b) Farmers prefer using apomictic seeds only to maintain hybrid characters ( year after year in the desired plant ), to avoid buying expensive hybrid seeds every year.
