Answers (1)

(a) In amplitude modulation amplitude of the carrier wave is varied according to the information signal

(b) given

f_{c}+f_{m}=660 \; KHz

f_{c}-f_{m}=640 \; KHz

\Rightarrow \; \; 2f_{c}=1300

           f_{c}=650 \; KHz

      \therefore f_{m}=10 \; KHz

Bandwidth = 2f_{m}=20 \; KHz
