To find \rightarrow distance between (a,b) and (-a,-b)
distance formula = \sqrt{\left ( x_{1}-x_{2} \right )^{2}+\left ( y_{1}-y_{2} \right )^{2}}
                           = \sqrt{\left ( 2-\left ( -a \right ) \right )^{2}+\left ( b-\left ( -b \right ) \right )^{2}}
                           = \sqrt{4a^{2}+4b^{2}}
                          = 2\sqrt{a^{2}+b^{2}}
