Solution:  Given ,

\ 10^x+10^y=10\ \Rightarrow 10^y=10-10^x\ \Rightarrow y=log_10(10-10^x)

Now, 10^1-10^x> 0

\Rightarrow 10^1> 10^xRightarrow 1> x

Therefore , domain of the single-valued function

y=f(x)   is x< 1Rightarrow xin (-infty ,1)
