The male sex accessory duct includes rete testis, vasa efferentia, epididymis, and vas deferens. The seminiferous tubules of the testis open into the vasa efferentia through rete testis. The vasa efferentia leave the testis and open into epididymis located along the posterior surface of each testis. The epididymis leads to the vas deferens that ascend to the abdomen and loop over the urinary bladder. It receives the duct from the seminal vesicle and opens into the urethra.

L.S. of testis

The sperm are produced in the seminiferous tubules of the testes and then transported to the epididymis where the sperm are stored get concentrated.  So, sperm are stored and nourished in the epididymis.

The epididymis is a comma-shaped organ about 4 cm long that lies along the posterior border of each testis. Functionally, the epididymis is the site of sperm maturation, a process by which sperm acquire the motility and the ability to fertilize an ovum. This occurs over of period of about 14 days.
