Three features of the Constitution of France drafted in 1791 were:

i. France became a constitutional monarchy with the king’s powers being reduced drastically by distributing them between three institutions called the Legislature, Executive and Judiciary.
ii. Making of laws was vested with the National Assembly, which was indirectly elected by a group of electors who, in turn, were elected by the registered voters
iii. The Constitution of 1791 vested the power to make laws in the National Assembly, which was indirectly elected i.e. citizens voted for a group of electors, who in turn chose the Assembly. 
iv. Only men above 25 years and paying a certain minimum amount of tax were allowed to vote. The remaining men and all women remained passive citizens.
